Liew Pui Khuan, this post if for u! I'm sorry I haven't been able to update many of you about the latest happenings in my life... that's because I don't have any motivation to blog anymore. It was during day 1 of my semester that I decided that no one would wanna read about my mundane lifestyle in the US anyway, hence the lack of updates.
So let's see. New boyfriend. Check. Studying for classes.Check. Hanging out with friends. Check. Presiding over club meetings. Check. Working. Check. It may seem that I have a crazy lifestyle, but this semester is actually pretty relaxing for me. I decided, during the first week of my classes, that I don't want to burn myself out for my last year of school, so I dropped a class. I'm actually enjoying this sense of freedom a lot! I can walk around school at a slower pace now, take my own sweet time whenever I do something without having to worry about the lack of time and sleep thereafter if I need to stay up late to catch up on stuff. I signed up for a Zumba (kinda like salsa) class to force myself to exercise, and it's great coz it's a good time for me to see some friends and catch up with people.
This relaxing pace of life is pretty sweet. In all honesty, I am actually enjoying life right now.
Whenever I look around and see my friends living a flustered life because of their hectic schedules, I actually sympathize with them. I can't believe that I used to be like that in the past.
I have nothing really exciting to write about. I had my one-month anniversary with Eddie on Wednesday. We went to a Cuban restaurant downtown to celebrate the evening. It was a quiet and lovely dinner, and we took a stroll along the river afterwards. Life is perfect right now. I don't want to screw things up. And I won't =)
Fallbreak's up in 2 weeks and I am currently planning for a mini-retreat to the Poconos mountains with Eddie and 8 other friends. I rented a house and just sent out my check to pay for the rent. Of course, everyone chipped in. In my humble opinion, it's gonna be an epic weekend. All of us are really looking forward to this well-deserved break!
